Top Fashion Fairs in 2019
Starting a fashion line can be daunting. One who just started his or her own clothing brand need not only worry about finances and inspiration (or the possible lack of it) but would also come to think about marketing and showing the brand to the world.
One of the ways by which a newbie can showcase his brand to the fashion industry is through fashion fairs. With just one look at the various options from around the world, one can surmise that a new brand can easily earn a place in the fashion circle especially when cards are played just right.
Fashion fairs are events to showcase the brand to potential buyers. This is also a good opportunity for fashion and brand designers to rub elbows with the biggest names in the industry. Fabusse, for example, can easily be accessed during these fashion fairs. It is through these events that one can gain connections that can be quite helpful later on. This can also be a good opportunity to amp up your name and be one level more popular in the industry.
While the most popular fairs are found in fashion capitals like Paris and New York, these events can pretty much exist in every corner of the globe, with every major and not so major city holding them at least once a year. This just means that if the New York fashion week is still so out of reach, for now, there will always be something worth looking at near you.
But let’s not digress. Let’s all see what the best fashion fairs this year are.
This May, the International Jewelry and Watch Fair is bound to happen in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. Jewelry enthusiasts that are not able to make it on the May 16 to 20, 2019 schedule in Ho Chi Minh can either check the fair out on November (Ho Chi Minh) or December (Hanoi). Being in the fair would be pure heaven as big names in the industry such as Overseas Diamonds MV (Belgium), JB and Brothers (India), CIMON (Italy), and a lot more movers and shakers in the jewelry and watch industry will be present.
If you’ve heard of Ritu Kumar, Garimon Roferos Couture, and the likes, you’d be hyped to attend the Bride Abu Dhabi Exhibition this coming June. Save the date: June 26 to 29, 2019 for four days of seeing big names in the fashion, beauty, and events business flock the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
Singapore’s International Jewelry Expo which happens on July 18 to 21 attracts jewelry enthusiasts and jewelry makers alike not just from the neighboring Asian countries but also exhibitors from as far as Turkey, Poland, and the Middle East. The Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre houses this event.
July is a busy month. The HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week (Spring/Summer) is bound to happen from July 8 – 11, 2019. Expect to find Fabusse and just some of the biggest names in the fashion industry to be present.
July is also when the Indian Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Show is bound to happen. Plus, AltaRoma, Italy’s biggest fashion event is also happening and Fabusse, being it’s partner for several years already is also taking part of this event.
And when you’re up for the latest in fashion, you may also want to keep a tab on the Lakme Fashion week in August and the CPM International Fashion in Moscow by September.
Fashion fairs happen everywhere in every part of the globe. While you can’t be present in all of these events, it would be extremely helpful to pay attention and do a lot of research for you to be able to determine which ones are worth participating in. And when you have already decided, come prepared.
